Are clear frames not suitable for those with black skin?

  Accented with the golden undertone, black skin looks best with similarly colored frames — brown, deep-red or gold. White or clear frame are not suitable for daily look.

  While it’s natural to opt for frames with deep tone if you have dark skin, your skin also has warm tones, which can be complemented with the right colors.However, clear may make your skin look more dark.

  If you have dark skin, I think that deep browns and golds work well with this skin tone, as well as gold-toned greens. In addition, any tortoiseshell variation should look beautiful against your gold undertones as well, but not clear.
