For the pros, you can them for everything, such as outside activities, working and reading; for the cons, I think they are a little expensive. Compared to regular lens I mean.
If you use progressive lens, you don’t need to bring a few pairs along with you, which is pretty convenient. However, some people might feel a little hard to adapt to them if they have never tried this kind of lens.
Only people have presbyopia will need progressive lens. They are better than bifocal lens cause there is no image jump or visible line on them. Actually I have been wearing progressive lens for a few years and I don’t notice any disadvantages.
