If I need contact lenses can I qualified to be a pilot?

What would be the closest to being an airline pilot if I need contact lenses to correct my eyesight?

    There should be a rule of eyesight for people who want to be a pilot .There are three classes of medical certificate for pilots.If you want to be a Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial Pilot ,the distant vision should be 20/20 or better in each eye separately, with or without correction.For private pilot ,it should be 20/40 or better in each eye separately, with or without correction.
