  No, hazel eyes are determined by a recessive gene. Only the brown eyes are determined by a dominant gene. Maybe this is the reason why there are so many brown eyes people in the world. And other recessive genes include grey eyes, green eyes and blue eyes. But I think if there aren't any vision problems or eye diseases in our eyes, any kind of eye color will be OK.

  The brown eyes are determined by a dominant gene. The grey eyes, green eyes, hazel eyes and blue eyes are determined by a recessive gene.
