Can an eyeglass shop take old lenses and reframe them?

I have about 3 pairs of glasses lenses that still fit my prescription, but all the frames have broken and are irreperable. I hate the idea of paying for brand new lenses when I have these perfectly fine lenses. will any allow that or will they give me trouble. Is it too much work or extra money?

It can be done if the lenses are big enough to be re-cut. If you just want to replace the frames , then you should have your old lenses cut to match the new frame, but cutting the lenses would make the optical quality at risk.Your frame choice will be limited due to the cutting of the lenses. However, it does work if you are trying to save money.

Yeah, of course. You can take your lenses to the glasses store to find frames which fit your lenses. Generally speaking, you need to choose a frame which is smaller than your lenses, because the lenses should be reprocessed to fit the frames.
