No,only some peripheral vision may be permanent. There are many causes for peripheral vision loss, they are not necessarily related to your eyes or vision. Peripheral vision loss is also a sign of other diseases such as migraine. However, you must go to the nearest emergency room or see an ophthalmologist the moment you feel peripheral vision loss , as it is the symptom of many serious diseases like brain tumor, brain stroke, glaucoma, and retinal detachment.

Peripheral vision is also known as side vision. The individual all have ability to see objects and movement outside of the direct line of vision. Actually, the rods are the key to apply peripheral vision because it is sensitive to night light and low-light but color. Peripheral is not permanent. It can be corrected by special eyeglasses. Plus, the distinctive eyeglasses are enough to correct your peripheral vision loss. So do not take any medicines or self-care before you talk with an ophthalmologist.

Ok, so sorry to hear that you have got such serious problems with your eyes. It is true the loss of peripheral vision would give us a lot of inconvenience. Whether it will recover or not depends on your specific situation, such as how soon did you get to cure your eyes, what have you been doing to protect your eyes and cure them, etc. Just consult a doctor and follow their instructions, remember, a good mood also helps with your situation. God bless you!
