Why are my eyes itchy after showering?

  Itchy eyes can be caused by allergies, or allergic conjunctivitis. You can buy oral antihistamines, such as Claritin. Or buy the eye drops with antihistamines and decongestants. Or see a doctor get some medication for relief of itchy eyes. And you’d better keep your windows closed to reduce outdoor allergens in spring to prevent itchy eyes.

  Your itchy eyes after showering may be caused by the eyes infection from the invisible bacterium. You could use the eye drops with anti-inflammation to reduce the symptom. You could also use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable. You need to protect your eyes carefully. The warm compress could be effective and workable which you should do.

  According to your description, there are several possible disease you may be suffering from: 1. Allergy. You may be allergic to something.In this case you need to find out what you are allergic to first. It can be something in the water like chlorine, shampoo, or towel. 2. Dry eyes. Drip some artificial tears eye drops before and after you take a shower.
