Usually people will use the eye drops to cure the itchy eyes which could make you feel not comfortable. When your eye drops are used up, you could use another way to make your eyes get comfortable and moisture. That is the warm compress. Though your eyes are very itchy at this moment you can't rub them for rubbing will make situation goes worse. Rubbing and the sweat and bacteria on your hands or face may go into your eyes and cause more irritation. You can use regular saline drops to wash your eyes. Or you can flush your eyes with cool water. You can put a piece of ice on your closed eyes to calm down your irritated eyes and the cool water can flush your eyes too. Hope that helps!

It will be quite difficult to stop itchy eyes without eye drops or medications. But I heard that the Jap brand Nikken's eyemate do well on itchy eyes. It contains Vitamin C, Wild blueberry extract, chlorella polysaccharide N.ß-1.3 glucan. They said that local honey will work on itchy eyes if your itchy eyes are caused by allergies for local honey can make your body not to react so badly to the allergens.

When the first time I heard that the rosewater can relieve itchy eyes, I had a try. I use rosewater to rinse my eyes for several times a day. I also apply rosewater into my eyes. It doesn't hurt and it relieves my itchiness instantly. So I suggest you to have a try.

There are many home remedies for itchy eyes. You can dab a cotton ball in the cold milk and then use it to rub around your eyes. You can make raw chilled potato slices to cover your eyes for at least thirty minutes. You can rinse your itchy eyes with a combination of aloe vera juice, honey and elderberry blossom tea. You can use fenugreek seeds to make smooth paste on your itchy eyes. You can also drink fresh vegetable juice of carrot and spinach twice daily. Hope this helped!
