  Well, dry eyes don' t cause broken blood vessels. There are several factors which can lead to broken blood vessels. For instance, tired eyes, which will lead to redness first and further turn into broken blood vessels. A pregnant woman can also have this situation. And when you are coughing badly, you may also experience broken blood vessels. What' s more, sometimes hypertension will make this happen, too. Just try to make yourself relaxed and it will be much better for you. Don' t burden yourself with too much pressure. Of course there are still some pathological reasons such as diabetes, infections, trauma and bleeding disorders. And some medication factors can not be ignored, too.   Yes, it is very possible for you to get broken blood vessels because of dry eyes which will be able to cause the damage of the eyes cornea. The too dryness of the eyes will make your eye pupils get no water element which will easily cause the damage of the blood vessels in the eyes. You need to use some eye drops to moisture the eyes. The method of warm compress is also a good one.

Tears are composed of water, oil, and antibodies, which is important to avoid damage of the cornea. Dry eye cannot lead to broken blood vessels. Redness in eyes may occur because of it.
