Well, it is important to have some massage to your eyes after the eye surgery. There are some tips you can follow. For example, you can sit up straight and close your eyes. And you need to relax for a minute or two. Also, after that, you should open your eyes wide, and then you need to lift your eyebrows up as high as you possibly can. Just keep this position for a count of two seconds. And then, you can just relax for two seconds and repeat. If you keep do this a long time, it can be not only do a help to the recovery, but also, reduce the appearance of dark eye circles. Also, you can drink more lemon juice, olive oil which can be good for your eyes. So you can have a try.

After the blepharoplasty, you'd better protect the eyes carefully, with no drinking or smoking. You'd better massage the eyes at the both sides. The massage direction should be up. Or else, the eyelid may be affected to be down. You could use some oil essentials to do the massage on the eyes parts to make the skin be smooth.

Blepharoplasty is a surgery used to get rid of excessive tissue of eyelids for functional or cosmetic purpose. Usually after this surgery, eyelids would be very stiff and swelling, which is very uncomfortable, so many surgeons or doctors would give the patients some instructions for home remedies to fasten the recover process. Massage around eyes is a good way to help, because facial massage could activate the blood circulation on face and remove blood stasis. For the first two days, you can only apply some short time ice pad on eyes and some ointment to keep moisture. After the third day, you can apply some lukewarm compress to help promote blood flow. But the eyelids are still stiff and you might feel some pain. Massage your eyes after your incisions are healed or after confirmed by your surgeon, otherwise the force might tear apart your wounds. Just use your finger tips lightly and tenderly to pull the corner of eyes and move the skin in circles just like the way you apply your eye cream. You can also put your palm on your temples and move the skin in a circle motion. You can do these several times. Only persisting can make effect.
