Can presbyopia cause headaches?

Is it normal that i got headache because of presbyopia? Can presbyopia cause headaches?

Well, yes, presbyopia can lead to headache. First, you should know that presbyopia is a condition, which is caused by aging. And generally speaking, when you get it, you will find it difficult to read small words at close distances or to work on the computer for long periods of time. Also, in some degree, it can also lead to headache with it. To heal it, you can use lutein, which can relieve the symptom. Also, go and see the eye doctor and he can give some advices.

If you always feel headache when you wear the presbyopia, you'd better go to see the doctor and have the full check on the eyes to see whether the prescription is suitable to your current situation. When the prescription of the presbyopia is a little higher or lower, your eyes may feel blurry at the vision which could cause the headache. You'd better have the eyes exam to adjust the suitable glasses.

It is a possible consequence of presbyopia. It is an aging related problem of eyes, which means the lens lost elasticity to focusing, so the up close vision is impacted. With presbyopia, the vision might be distorted. The straight line could be waved. When you are trying to see any fine print, you have blurry vision. If you keep doing some close vision work, you will get fatigue and headache symptoms. Actually presbyopia could be very easily corrected. It can't be cured, but it can be corrected with a pair of glasses. So if you get presbyopia, don't worry too much. It is just a common problem for most of the people over 40. Talk to your ophthalmologist, and get a pair of reading glasses prescribed. With help from glasses when you need to do any close vision work, you won't feel headache any more.
