Well, yes, wearing glasses can affect the peripheral vision. And you should know that people with glasses have better peripheral vision than those who are not wearing glasses. As we know that our retina, which is the focal plane of the eye and containing photosensitive cells, is less damaged there than in the central part. The peripheral vision is the natural auric sight. Peripheral vision means being able to see 'out of the corner of your eye. If you have lost peripheral vision, it can lead to disorders in your eyes. So you should just be careful about it.

Well, as a matter of fact, nobody likes to rely on glasses in their daily life. But it has always been a fact of life that many of us have bad myopia. So, we need to get visual aids from wearing glasses. Actually, the more we wear glasses, the less we are able to focus on peripheral vision, but our central vision would not simply be affected. Since our eyes would inevitable be damaged if our myopia is high.

Yes, wearing the glasses will to some degree affect your peripheral vision. As we know, the thick eyeglasses frame around will hinder the vision when you see from the lenses. However, you could choose the rimless eyeglasses which will make you have the broad vision from the lenses. You could also choose the contact lenses to get the right vision.
