Does age affect my peripheral vision?

  Yes, the age will affect your peripheral vision. When we grow old, our eyes will get dryness because of the bad excretion inner the eyes. We must eat more food with vitamin A and C to moisture the eyes. That is why the age problem will affect the peripheral vision.

  In most cases peripheral vision loss may be caused by a variety of underlying conditions or diseases. Some of these affect only your eyes, such as glaucoma or retinal detachment, while others affect your brain or other parts of the body, such as stroke or brain tumor. Additionally, alcohol and some medications may cause vision changes, including changes in your peripheral vision. Age is another factor that should be considered,but you can still prevent the bad things happened by exercising more and taking more healthy food.

  Well, I quite understand your concern, so as a matter of fact, it is true that with age, your peripheral vision could decrease. This is a fact of life, however, sometimes, patients with cataract disease would be likely to suffer a serious peripheral vision. So, you need to take care of your eye health. And if there is anything wrong with your eyes, you need to get some timely treatment.
