Well, it seems that you are quite into this particular field. Well, yes of course, the truth is that males are more likely to be color blind than that of women. This is mainly because of the fact that, the chromosome of male is XY type, on the other hand, the type of women's chromosome is XX, which decided that men are more likelier to be colorblind. However, new technologies have made it possible to cure the problem.

Yes, the males with color blindness are more than the females because of the larger getting opportunities. Color blindness is a genetic disease and a kind of congenital dyschromatopsia disease. The dyschromatopsia has a variety of types, among which the most common is red and green color blindness. According to three primary colors theory, the visible spectrum in any color can be made of red, green, blue color. The composition can recognize three primary colors. If you can't identify three primary colors, you may have the color weakness. If you are just weak at the red and green color, you will not distinguish several parts of the color. Patients grow up without normal color discrimination ability. It is not discovered. The red and green color blindness decision is in the X chromosome of two genes, namely red color blindness genes and green color blindness gene. Female will get the blindness because of two genes infection. However male will get larger opportunity of getting one gene to get the blindness. Thus the males with color blindness are more than females.
