Can i work in a restaurant with pink eye?

  if you have pink eyes, you had better stay at home. For one thing, if you go out with pink eyes, it would aggravate your illness. For another thing, the restaurant won't accept you. As we all known, pink eyes belongs to infectious diseases and contagious. You can go to the ophthalmology of hospital, or use some eye drops.

  Well, you should stay at home instead of working in a resturant. Pink eye is very common, however, it is not serious.The factors that cause pinkeye are as follows: viruses or bacteria, dry eyes from lack of tears or exposure to wind and sun, chemicals, fumes, or smoke (chemical conjunctivitis). So staying at home and taking a note from a doctor. Warm tips: smoking and spciy foods are not good for you to recover.

  No, you cannot work at a restaurant and they would not hire you. Pink eye or conjunctivitis is redness and swelling of the conjunctiva, the mucous membrane that lines the eyelid and eye surface. The lining of the eye is usually clear. If irritation or infection occurs, the lining becomes red and swollen. It is mainly caused by virus or bacteria, thus they are contagious and spread very fast and easily. Restaurant is a public place that there would have a lot of people. Whatever job you are doing in there, when you are touching or rubbing your eyes, you would pass the virus and bacteria to others by hand-object-hand. On the other side, you have to take a health exam before doing anything in the food industry, you could not pass the exam when you get pink eye.
