Nope, it is not entirely true. Sunken eyes are described as dark circles under the eyes. The long-believed theory that a lack of sleep is one of the most common causes of sunken eyes, however, exhaustion does not directly cause sunken eyes, but it could exaggerate their appearance. It could cast shadows over the fact that five the appearance of dark circles. And there are other factors can accelerate the appearance include allergies, illness, smoking or alcohol consumption. By the way, the most common causes of dark circles under the eyes are genetics and excess pigmentation.

The lack of sleep will not cause the sunken eyes. As we know, the sunken eyes are usually born to be. Or the trauma caused the sunken eyes in the acquired environment. There is another reason that may cause this. The long time wearing of prescription eyeglasses may cause the sunken eyes because of the modification of eyeballs. And it usually needs the surgery to treat the sunken eyes. After the surgery, you'd better keep the good habit in life. For example, the lack of sleep may deteriorate the sunken eyes. And the spicy food may even stimulate the sunken eyes. Thus, you'd better have a good sleep.
