Does wal-mart vision center accept medicaid?

I plan to get an eye exam and a pair of prescription eyeglasses at Walmart Vision Center. Can anyone tell me that will wal-mart vision center accept medicaid?

Yeah, I have bought the eyeglasses from Walmart last year with medicaid. The service of eye exam there is good. And the price there is suitable which may be cheap a little than those in other eyeglasses store. And the speed of making the eyeglasses from Walmart is quick. I get my eyeglasses two days after I ordered it. In a word, Walmart is really a good place to buy the eyeglasses.

I heard somewhere online that walmart Vision centers will accept medicare, Medicaid and Tricare etc. But the policies of each walmart vision center in different state may be different. So, if you want to get more information about it, you shall contact your local walmart vision center for a further consultation.

Not all wal-mart vision centers will accept Medicaid, the policy varies from store to store, so you'd better make an appointment or make a call to know which kind of Medicaid they will accept. I also heard that Eye exam was totally covered due to medical reasons (diabetes), so I think you must ask more details about whether an eye exam for other eye problems or vision problems will be covered by Medicaid or not. Wal-Mart in Rantoul accept Medicaid for vision services. There is a $2 copay for the appointment. Medicaid covers the cost of a new pair of glasses for adults (21 and over) every two years. Children are eligible to receive eyeglasses annually. However, the policy in Wal-Mart in different state varies. You may have a call first to check out. They do take Medicaid .. But some Walmarts Vision Centers Do Not take Medicaid for an adult 21 years and up. So you might want to call and check first!!

Yes, wal-mart vision center will accept Medicaid. But you can use your Medicaid for glasses exams only. You can't use them for contacts exams. I don't know why. And you can't get a pair of glasses by Medicaid, so you need to pay for glasses or buy a pair of glasses in other places. I just bought a pair of glasses on Firmoo last week. I found it quite good. If you want to buy a pair of glasses, you can have a look on their online stores.

Dear friend, I think you need to contact a wal-mart vision center that is near you to schedule an eye exam. They will accept Medicaid but you can't get a pair of eyeglasses with Medicaid. Usually an associate will help you with making an appointment. I heard that we can get an eye exam and a pair of glasses with Medicaid in other places. But I also heard that Medicaid only covers children's eye exams and glasses in wal-mart.
