You can try on and test it out yourself. Go a glasses shop and try on some glasses frames. If you don't want to go out, you can 'try on" in some online glasses shop. Now most online glasses shop offer Virtual Try-on System which allow you "try on" with your photos. Usually, to flatter your wide face, you shall choose big frames glasses to make your face look smaller. Or you shall avoid some small eyeglasses frames especially for small round eyeglasses frames. Again, thick eyeglasses frames may look better on you than slim frames eyeglasses or rimless eyeglasses.
I think a pair of wide and large glasses may suit your wide face fine. You can go to the local optical store to have a look. If they have glasses you like, you can try them on and see whether they flatter your face. If you can't decide on your own, you can take a friend with you and ask for an honest opinion. Most of the optician will recommend you some different styles of eyeglasses that might suit your face and they will also give you suggestions on which one will suit you best. Personally, aviator glasses can suit people with wide faces well.
