Ortho-k is even suitable for children as young as 7 or 8 years old, because this treatment involves no visual risk in the long run. In addition, ortho-k lenses can help wearers reduce the progression of nearsightedness.

  Ortho-k is suitable at any age while lasik surgery requires people to reach 18-20 years old. Ortho-k has a lower risk than lasik surgery. What's more, The price of Ortho-k treatment is less than half the price of lasik surgery. And Ortho-k is fully reversible.
