How often should over 60 people get eyes checked?

My father is already 65 now, how often should he get his eyes checked?

    People who are over 60 should have an eye exam every year to have their eyes checked. Because people who are over 60 have more chance of suffering vision changes, eye diseases and other conditions which may affect their eye health.

    Old People are more likely to have eye diseases such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and presbyopia. An annual eye exam is needed to detect t early signs of diabetes, high blood pressure and other diseases that may affect their eyes.
