  It depends.If the polarization lines of one lens are parallel,and the other lens’ are parallel,too,then the two lenses look the same as the naked eyes see.But if the polarization lines of one lens are parallel,and the other lens’ are perpendicular,then the light can’t get through it and the lenses will be completely black.

  I have a pair of ray ban sunglasses. They are a pair of prescription sunglasses. The color on the lenses is not very even because I have a high prescription. So the lenses are not of the same thickness and the color can't distribute evenly. But if you have a pair of regular sunglasses, the color will distribute more evenly.

  If you want to know the way to distinguish a pair of polarized sunglasses and a pair of regular sunglasses, I'd like to tell you a good way. You can turn on the TV, and then you can look through your sunglasses (just put the sunglasses in front of the TV screen not to wear them). The sunglasses can filter the glare. If you turn them slowly to 90 degrees, your vision will get dark. If the lenses aren't actually polarized, your vision won't get dark. Hope this helped!
