How much do colored contact lenses cost a year?

I want to get coloured contact lenses because I'm kind of sick of wearing glasses. How much do you think coloured contacts will cost me a year? Do you think $800-$1000 a year is enough to put aside?

$800-$1000 is quite a large amount for colored contact lenses .I think $400 is enough for ordinary ones .But if you want brand contacts which can be much expensive ,it is another story . Anyway ,more is better than less .
