Vitamin C and E are good for macular degeneration prevention. I also heard that the Areds formula do not have apparent benefit for people without A.M.D. so as you are a healthy person, you can take in vitamins by keeping a healthy diet. I know that diet rich in green leafy vegetables can help prevent the A.M.D. and diet with lots of fruits and vegetables rich in Lutein and zeaxanthin can help reduce the risk of vision loss from A.M.D.
