Are there any side effect of retinal detachment surgery?

I am going to have retinal detachment surgery next month. I am a little nervous now. Can you guys tell me if there are any side effects of this?

    Retinal detachment is a very serious eye problems. As the name implies, the retina detachment is the retina separates from the tissue around it. And people suffered from retinal detachment will suffered from vision loss. And the retinal detachment surgery is for cure the detached retinal. So far, i didn't find people who got any side effects from retinal detachment surgery.
