Can fibromyalgia affect your vision?

  Yes, there is the side effect to vision from fibromyalgia. It will make your vision get poorer. The affected nerves at the whole body will make your eyes get blurry vision. You need to use the eye drops to moisture the eyes and let your eyes get clear at the vision. You could also use the warm compress as the home remedy to make your eyes get comfortable.

  Yes, fibromyalgia affects vision and eye health. First of all, fibromyalgia cause sicca whose symptoms are dry nose, mouth and eyes mucus membranes.The situation can be worse as a result of medicine and nutrition deficiency. Second, the patient may develop a sensitivity to light as a result of fibromyalia occurs in the hypothalamus which reacts to light. Lastly, fibromyalgia can also cause chronic eye pain. When the ocular muscles is pressed by fibromyagia, misalignment of the eyes can happen. As a result, the patient may suffer from double vision or blurred vision.

  I have to tell you that there is no direct links between the two symptoms. However, as fibromyalgia can lead to depression, headache , sleeping disorder, rheumatism and other diseases that are relevant to brain nerves, which may influence the eyes not faraway. Of course, it will not do good to eyes if you don't have a good nental status. Therefore, you may feel dry or other comforts in your eyes so that may induce other eye problems. It seems that your fibromyalgia can inevitably affect your eyes. Hope that will help.
