  Now the most common method of anesthesia during cataract surgery is superficial anesthesia. It doesn't need give or have an injection and there is no pain, in addition, you can rotate his eyes during the surgery, so you won't lose consciousness, and you are awake. But you still need to work in with the doctor.

  Actually people will be awake when they take the cataracts surgery because of the anesthetic. However they will have no feeling during the surgery. If you have the cataracts, I suggest you to take the surgery to have the good vision. Eyes are the very important parts for the whole body. You need to take great care of.

  Cataract surgery is the removal of the natural lens of the eye and replacing it with an artificial lens called and IOL. The patient is awake during the procedure because of local anesthesia during cataract surgery. But relax, you cannot feel pain and the doctor will give you a sedative to keep you awake. This surgery will last 20 minutes. It is not long. So take easy.
