Actually the graves eye disease is not hereditary which is often happened in the after period environment. Eye graves disease mostly affects eyes, CT of extraocular muscle hypertrophy of the optic nerve enlargement and exophthalmos. The bilateral painless exophthalmos eyelid shrinks ophthalmoplegia. Optic nerve dysfunction includes decreased visual acuity diplopia pupillary reflex and vision abnormalities. You could use some anti-inflammation medicine to treat the graves eye disease. In addition, you could also use the eye drops to release the symptom. The good home remedy is the warm compress which will make your eyes get moisture and comfortable.

Well, yes, Graves' disease can be hereditary, but on the other hand, it can also be caused by some reasons. Generally speaking, you should know that Graves' disease is the most common form of hyperthyroidism. And when it occurs, your eyes may look enlarged, because the upper lids are elevated. And also, in some cases, one or both eyes can be bulge. For other symptoms, it can just lead to the swelling of the front of the neck. For the cause, it can be because of overproduction of thyroid hormone by the entire thyroid gland. For the treatments, in my opinion, you may need to go and see the doctor. So that he can just give you some examination. Anyway, it can be serious and dangerous.

Yes, graves can be inherited. If the parents have grave eyes, their children have much higher risk of getting this disease than normal people. The symptoms of grave eyes: 1.Protrusion of the eyes(bulging eyes) 2.Retraction of eyelids 3.Double vision Here are the treatments: 1. Antithyroid drugs. Patients take drugs such as propylthiouracil (PTU) or methimazole to reduce the production of thyroid. 2. Radioiodine. This treatment is the simplest, most painless, quick and effective way. You just need to take one pill or two when necessary. But pregnant women can't take this. 3. Surgery. Most patient don't have to receive surgery as they can be cured through meditation and radioiodine. In cases that patients have large multinocular goiters which affect their windpipes, surgery is the most effective treatment for them.
