Well, generally speaking, it will just take a few days for your eye strain to go away. So you do not need to worry about. There are many factors which can cause eye strain. For example, if you overuse your eyes for a long time, your eyes will suffer eye strain. Also, high eye pressure will also lead to it. When you get eye strain, it is possible to have some eye diseases, such as the pink eyes, dry eyes. So if your situation is serious, you should see a doctor. Besides, you should take some time for your eyes to have a rest. And you can close your eyes for a few minutes to allow the muscles to relax.

There must be some reasons for the eye strain which you don't notice. If the eye strain is not that serious, it may last for about several minutes because of the sudden change of the mood. If it is serious because of the long time use of eyes in the highly concentrated state, it may last for about an hour. You should go to the hospital to have a full check on the eyes.

Eye strain is especially common in people who work long hours in front of a computer or who must fix their sight on small items, such as those who repair watches or read blueprints. If you suffer from eye strain, there are lots of things you can do to ease the pain and prevent vision damage. So if you can follow my suggestions, you can get rid of it as soon as possible. Firstly, make sure you're using appropriate lighting. Secondly, keep your eyes moisturized to avoid added strain.Make sure you blink frequently and use eye drops, available over the counter, if your eyes look and feel irritated at the end of the day. Thirdly, take frequent breaks and look away. In addition, consider getting glasses, even if you're vision is near perfect.
