Can people with macular degeneration wear contact lenses?

    It is not safe for people with macular degeneration to wear the contact lenses. As we know, wearing the contact lenses will make you eyes feel dry if you wear for a long time. The macular degeneration will get worse if you wear the contact lenses which will easily let your eyes get the bacterium.

    it is better for you to do not wear contact lenses. First, the macular degeneration is the aging change in macular zone in which visual sense is the most sensitive part. second, the macular degeneration belongs to chronic disease, even if your condition has been controlled and visual sense has been cured, you have to take some consolidation treatment according to the suggestion of doctor. so, it is better to do not wear contact lenses.
