Generally speaking, it can take 6 months to one year before babies get their permanent eye color. Some are a little later. They can change between blue, green, and gray depending on what color you and your husband have.

Generally speaking, eye colour can still change up to a year. However, in most cases, eye color will change in the first 5 or 6 months. If it has not changed by about 6 months, it may remain whatever colour it is.

It usually takes at least nine months old for a baby to get the permanent eye color. However, every baby is different. Some babies get the permanant eye color after a year. And the eye color of a baby is influenced by the that of their parents.
