Does children with slight astigmatism need to wear corrective eyeglasses?

My child was diagnosed with slight astigmatism, does he also need wear corrective eyeglasses?

    If the astigmatism is weaker than 50, he doesn't need to wear corrective eyeglasses. But if your child is still a student and need to read a lot, it is better for him to wear eyeglasses in prevention of vision getting worse.

    If your child has slight astigmatism without myopia or hypermetropia, he don't need to get corrective lenses. If your child often gets headache, eyestrain, or distortion of vision while tilting of their heads to see clearly, then the corrective lenses for astigmatism are needed to make the vision clear and comfortable.
