Does prednisone cause eye problems?

People say that prednisone can cause a series of eye problems, is that true? What if I take them?

    Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug. It can be used to treat some types of cancer and inflammatory diseases. But using prednisone also have side effects. One of the side effects is eye change. It can cause some eye problems such as cataracts and glaucoma, vision changes, and other problems etc. If you noticed any change of your eyes during you take prednisone, you shall let your doctor or healthcare provider know. Just be careful if you need to take prednisone.
