Can a stye cause swelling under the eye?

  Yes, it is. Here are the symptoms of eye styes: 1. You may suffer from redness, swelling, burning and pain on eyelids in early stage. If eye styes are on outer canthus, you may also have chemosis. 2.If they are not eliminated on stage 1, after 3 to 5 days,a dot coverage with pus will come out. If the pus dot is taken away by surgery, the inflammation will disappear. 3.Serious cases may develop swollen lymph and tenderness.

  Well, it is possible for your eyes to have swelling because of eye stye. First, you should know that a stye is inflammation of the eyelid, usually inside one of the small glands lining the eyelid. And for the causes, most of styes are caused by infection from bacteria. And when it occurs, it will just have some other symptoms, such as puffy eyes, even swelling eyes. And that is why you have swelling eyes. And at this moment, you should make sure your eyes are far from the bacteria. Also, having some cool tea bags can be effective.

  Yes, it is normal for your eyes to get the swelling symptom because of the eye stye. The eye stye may usually be caused by the coming invisible bacterium which will make your eyes look horrible at the look. You need to have the good care for your eyes, not sitting in front of the computers for a long time. You could use the warm compress to make your eyes get comfortable.
