Could glaucoma get undetected in an eye exam?

I have two blind spots in each eye that have both been there for over a month. then I went to have my eyes checked, but the doctor said everything is fine. But I'm still doubt about my eye health. Is it possible that something serious like glaucoma could go undetected in an eye exam in which pressure is checked, pupils are dilated, etc.?

Yes. It is possible that some eye symptoms cannot be detected in an eye exam. However, you don't have to worry about it because it won't cause negative impact in the long-term. If you experience something new, or feel that things are becoming worse, you should see your doctor or specialists then.

It is possible that glaucoma can get undetected in a normal test. If you are worried about this, you can go to see other opthalmologist and have your eyes checked again. Wish you good luck.

Maybe you should change for another doctor and have eye exam again. Some doctors are not quite responsible when having eye exam. If the result is same, you don't need to worry. Sometimes there are many strange eye symptoms that really have no identifiable causes, and really have no negative impact in the long-term.

Maybe you are hyperreactive. Anxiety can make the problem appear worse than it is. I have often fallen into the trap of constantly checking for new symptoms, becoming very neurotic. So just take it easy.
