What are the Symptoms of Low Contrast Sensitivity?

I find I can hardly distinguish objects from their background, does this mean I have Low Contrast Sensitivity?

    People with low contrast sensitivity always experience difficulty in some conditions, such as seeing traffic lights and spotting other cars or pedestrians during night driving. Since these people have poor perception of objects that do not stand out from their backgrounds, they may even stumble when they fail to see similarly colored pavements.

    People with low contrast sensitivity will have difficulty to differentiate similar colored terrains and usually need extra light to read. When they are driving at night, the walkers seem to mix up into the scenery in dim light.
