Are polarized lenses with tints on them?

I am planning to get a pair of eyeglasses with polarized lenses. I am wondering are the lenses tinted?

    Polarized lenses are different from the tinted lenses. However, the polarized lenses may look like there is a tint on the lenses.In fact, polarized lensed use a filter to block glare while tinted lenses cannot offer this.They are different.

    Although it looks like somewhat a tint on the lenses, it isn't the tint at all.
