What causes ghosting after prk ?

Is it normal to get ghosting after Prk? I mean is this a normal postoperative complications from PRk?

There are a lot of side effects after prk. The ghosting can be a normal postoperative complication from prk because of the dryness of the eyes. Once you get dry at the eyes, you may have high possibility to see things in blurry. You need to have the good rest, healthy diet and good habit of using your eyes. They could help you release the symptom of ghosting.

Vision problem is one of side effects of PRK. About 1% of patients will have vision problems after taking surgery. The reason you have double images is the surgery have changed your corneas. Usually, this problem will be ended up within a couple of weeks. Since dry eyes will worsen ghosting, so you can take eyedrops. Or you can accept a second surgery if it is necessary.
