Yes, it is quite possible. If the whites of your eyes become yellow then it's possible, you are very likely to have mild jaundice. Jaundice is a disease or infection of the livev and it is the result of too many red blood cells retiring at one time, by too much bilirubin (yellow pigment) in the blood. So, if you get jaundice in your body, you can get yellow eyes. To solve this problem, you need to go to hospital and have treatment because yellow eyes can be treated by correcting the problem that caused the hyperbilirubinemia.

Certainly jaundice can make your eyes yellow. Yellow eyes means the whites of the eye become yellowish. Biologically, the body continuously replaces aged cells with new ones and yellow pigments named bilirubin appears afterwards. Bilirubin plays the main role in producing jaundice. Normally, bilirubin can be expelled from the body from the function of the liver. Most of the time if the liver gets in problem you will suffer jaundice with yellow eyes as its indicative symptom. In addition, there are many other problems of the body organs which can account for jaundice and yellow eyes. The two of jaundice and yellow eyes are inseparable.

I must seriously tell you that jaundice makes our eyes yellow, sometimes even our palms and soles of the feet may become yellow. What is jaundice? When the whites of our eyes and possibly our skin develop a yellowish color, which is commonly called jaundice. Everyone has a normal value of jaundice. So a doctor told me that eyes began to occur yellow is possible to be caused by jaundice. However, the root reason is bilirubin, exactly too much bilirubin in the blood. You may feel strange that too much bilirubin can cause jaundice. Aren't bilirubin red? Actually, bilirubin is a yellow pigment. If your eyes have already become yellow, go to see a doctor to measure the amount of bilirubin in your blood. Doctor can rule out certain causes of hyperirritability to determine how much bilirubin in your blood. But relax, jaundice not all emergency. I cannot recommend you home remedies for that. The best thing to do is receive medicine treatment under the instruction of doctor.
