Dry eyes occur due to lack of tears being produced or the quality of the tear is suboptimal, and it may occur after LASIK treatment. Here are some natural herbs for dry eyes as follows: 1. Falx seed. Flax seeds are rich sources of the eye-healthy nutrient omega-3 fatty acids. Receive the greatest benefit to help your eye by using cold, pressed flaxseed oil. Always take flaxseed oil orally and never apply it directly to your eyes. For best results, the recommended dosage of flaxseed oil is 1 tbsp. daily. 2. Herbs rich in vitamin C. Herbs such as parsley, cilantro, coriander, red pepper, paprika, ground cloves, dill weed, basil, rosemary, allspice, sage, peppermint, tarragon, bay leaf, coriander, garlic celery and/or dill weed and cardamon, they are all rich in vitamin C and can help your dry eyes. 3. Herbs rich in vitamin A. Paprika contains the highest concentration of the nutrient and is rich in vitamin A. Other herbs such as cayenne pepper, basil, oregano, chervil, sage, dill weed, savory and thyme also conclude vitamin A that can help your dry eyes and overall eye health. 4. Evening primrose oil. The oil is extracted from the plant's seeds and has been used for centuries as a medicine. Evening primrose oil is rich in the essential fatty acid known as linoleic acid and it contains properties that can heal your body and dry eyes. The oil is available in tincture.

Dry eyes usually caused by inadequate aqueous drainage. We know that if the liquid drains too slowly from the eye, it will break the balance of production and drainage of the eye's clear fluid. Dry eyes usually cause great discomforts to eyes such as sting, burning, or gritty feeling, blurred vision, pain, sensitivity to light and eye fatigue, redness and so on. Fortunately, there are many herbal home remedies. First, you can use fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids that show promise as a natural approach to dry eye relief. Second, you can drink chrysanthemums or ligustrumeas tea to help relieve discomforts and symptoms of dry eyes. Third, you can use the seeds of the evening primrose that are high in lineolic acid, a fatty acid not produced by the body, which is also helpful for eye dryness. Forth, eyebright plants can be used to make a tea and ingested to relieve dry eyes. Except for these herbal remedies, you can also use artificial tears, avoid dry conditions, use a humidifier to increase the moisture of indoor air, wear sunglasses when outdoors, etc.
