It is true that red wine is good for eyes and helps reduce floaters. Red wine is made by purple grapes of rich resveratrol, a naturally occurring compound, which can directly inhibit the development of abnormal blood vessels both within and outside the eyes. Usually, red wine acts as a powerful anti-ager, which could treat age-related macular degeneration, especially of great importance to help to reduce the risk of floaters. Besides, drinking red wine will not only help protect your eyes but also help you achieve good sleep, and it is also good to guard against and lower the risk of lung cancer and heart disease. To reduce floaters, you can drink red wine meanwhile eat many other foods which can be very good for your eyes, such as the lutein.
