Well, generally speaking, it is hard to say corneal scarring can lead to permanent damages to eyes. First, you should know that corneal scarring is related to an injury of the cornea of the eye that causes opacity and visual impairment. In some degree, it can be healed by some medical ways, but also, it will just make your vision become worse. In some serious cases, it will just lead to blindness. So you should be careful about it. at this moment, you should have corneal transplant.

Hope you have already went to hospital at first, this kind of disease of eyes must be diagnosed by doctor in the hospital. No injury treatment of cornea would allow be delay, if not so, that will be serious for the vision care. The leukoma which caused by viral keratitis are permanent and no chance to recovery. The cornea is a transparent issue; the scarring will be hard to recovery, and it will affect the vision. The only method of heal is keratoplasty. The cornea disease is not a tiny issue for a person, the details and treatment you must go to hospital to reassure and fix the healing plan.

The scarring corneal is not everlasting which could be treated through the surgery. You could treat it through some home remedies. You could use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable. You should drink more water and eat more vegetables to make your eyes feel comfortable. You should protect the eyes carefully.
