It is normal to feel pain, because you are still not accustomed, I wear glasses to 9 years and always return to the degree of pain at first sight, tb I have myopia and astigmatism, you have to continue to use until used and then will no longer discomfort and pain?.Be persistent and be sure to use them. This discomfort is just the beginning because your eyes are not yet used.

It has nothing to do with using reading glasses. what happens is that in Brazil or in places with tropical climate, there is much light, it justifies the increase of people with problems in the sights, but it is not only this reason, the factor has biological and genetic too. Not all people who have problems with views, but almost half the population has some degree. People who read poorly, as in dark, high brightness ..... probably you may also have a problem in view, not necessarily with much reading or study.

Dear friend, I think maybe the degrees of your glasses are too strong for reading books. I began to wear glasses when I was a high school student. I was sitting in the back of the classroom. Every time I need to see the blackboard, I would wear my glasses, but I won't wear glasses when I did homework because the glasses will make me feel discomfort. I suggest you to have your eyesight checked by an eye doctor again and ask for the prescription for a pair of computer glasses. You can use the computer glasses for reading books. I think it will be better than the first pair of glasses.

Maybe you are just not used to the new glasses yet. You are used to strain your eyes to see small letters in the book while now though you can see them clearly without strain your eyes, you eyes also need some time to adapt to the clear vision. I suggest you to take a break every half an hour when you are reading with your glasses. Usually it will take a few days or even one week to adapt to a new pair of glasses. If you can't manage this with glasses one week later, you may need to see an eye doctor again and find the reasons.

If you can manage other things with your glasses while you have problem with reading books or magazines, it may mean that your glasses are not good for reading books or magazines. You can ask your eye doctor to give you a new prescription to buy a pair of glasses for reading. But I do not mean you need a pair of reading glasses. I just think if the doctor modify the degrees of the lenses, you may feel more comfortable in using the glasses for reading.

Dear friend, do you have age-related macular degeneration? Age-related macular degeneration can affect the vision when you're reading books or magazines. I suggest you to have your eyes checked by an eye doctor. But sometimes I will get tired eyes and eye pain if I read books or magazines for a long time.

Dear friend, computer glasses are different from other glasses because they are designed to fit for a proper distance (usually a fixed distance between our eyes and the computer screen). So you can't find a pair of glasses which can provide all the functions for you. Last month, I bought a pair of computer glasses with a prescription for distance vision. I ordered the glasses online so I didn't change the degrees. But later I found that the degree is too strong when I use it for computer working. This time, I will tell my optimists that I want to buy a pair of computer glasses so he or she may need to have my eyesight checked again. Hope this helped!
