Yeah, you are right, when you wear the new glasses, you will find that your eyes are easily to get twitching. As to the reasons why the new glasses cause the twitching, I think I can tell you some of them for your reference. First of all, you know when you have been wearing a pair of glasses for long time and your eyes are getting used to it, when you change to another new glasses, your eyes will spend time on adjusting, which will cause the eye strain, and then you will get the eye twitching. On the other hand, if you get the new glasses with wrong prescription, there are more possibilities that you also will get the eye twitching. Because you know the wrong prescription will make the muscle around your eyeshadow tense and the eyeshadow will keep nervous, when the eye twitching will have a date with you.

Twitching of the eyelid is a common complaint and usually is self limited. Most often it is due to lack of sleep, excessive stimulants such as caffeine, stress and occasionally related to more severe neurological issues.Modify these issues and things should get better. But it may take weeks for the twitching to go away. It is not related to changes in glasses, contact lenses etc. If it does not resolve by itself and is a chronic condition treatment options exist and it would be best to see your eye doctor.

Eye strain usually is caused by not having properly adjusted glasses or contacts. I think this actually contributed to eye twitching that I experienced over a year ago. I had my first eye exam in many years and found out that I did indeed need glasses. After a few weeks of wearing my new eyeglasses regularly, I found that my eyelid twitching went away. Another common cause of eye strain is from computer use. They say that looking at a computer screen for long periods of time is stressful on the eyes. If you do a lot of work in front of the computer and use glasses, your eye doctor may be able to help reduce the eyestrain by getting you specific eyeglasses for use while doing computer work.

My suggestion to someone with eyelid twitching that isn't going away would be to get an eye exam and make sure your glasses are the proper prescription.

Your eyes twitching may be related with the use of eyes, not the wearing of new glasses. You may sit in front of the computers for a long time with little rest. You could overuse your eyes. You'd better use some eye drops with anti-inflammation to release the symptom. Then you should keep notice of using eyes in front of the computers for less time.
