When can you drink alcohol after blepharoplasty?

My doctor told me not to drink alcohol in recent days since i just received blepharoplasty. So, can you tell me how long does it take before i take alcohol. Any suggestion?

Yes, what the doctor suggests you is right. You should not drink alcohol in recent days after the blepharoplasty surgery because of the stimulating irritates. You could protect the eyes carefully. You could wait for about one month's basic recovery and drink. However, you'd better wait after three month's recovery and take the alcohol.

Well, yes, you should just do something your doctor told you. Generally speaking, you are not supposed to drink alcohol 24 hours after the surgery. As we know that when you have alcohol after the surgery, it will irritate your eyes and make the situation worse. Of courser, after the surgery, there are also many tips you should pay attention to. For example, you should avoid eye injuries by wearing a protective shield at night. And be careful about the eye infection too.

Blepharoplasty is one of the most useful way of beautifying our eyes. However, the lasting impacts would last some time, during this period, you certainly would be required not to drink and not to take some spicy food, or irritative food. The period would be about 2 or 3 weeks, you could drink after consulting the doctor again.
