Can sodium bicarbonate treat eye infection ?

I heard that sodium bicarbonate can help people with eye infection. Is that true that sodium bicarbonate can treat eye infection?

Eye infection might occur to many parts of eyes tissues. Conjunctivitis is one of the most common infections of eyes. Usually ophathalmologist will prescribe some eye drops to treat the infection. Some people prefer to use sodium bicarbonate, but there is very limited resource which prove sodium bicarbonate can be remedy for eye infection. Sodium bicarbonate is common used for bakery. It is know as baking soda. It is used in mucosal inflammation, ulcer, renal failure, ulcer and liver transplant. It is used in some cleansers, such as toothpaste. Yet this doesnâ€™t indicate that it can be used for eye infection. With it in eyes, you can feel acute pain. I suggest you not to do so. Many case of eye infections could heal without special treatment. As to bacterial and fungal infection, the oculist will prescribe medicine for you. Talking to your oculist is a better choice over sodium bicarbonate.

Well, generally speaking, you should know that sodium bicarbonate, which is well known as baking soda, may offer relief for medical conditions such as indigestion. If you have low levels of sodium or bicarbonates in your system, it can be used. And also, it can be used as a component in cleansers and personal hygiene products, such as toothpaste. But on the other hand, you should know that it can not be used to treat eye infection. As we know that eye infection is caused by many different reasons, so the treatments depend on the causes. Anyway, sodium bicarbonate can not help eye infection.

Yes, it is true that sodium bicarbonate can treat your eyes infection because it has the role of killing the invisible bacterium in your eyes. Your eyes infection may be caused by the coming bacterium, lots of use of eyes in front of computers and so on. You'd better use the sodium bicarbonate to help you reduce the eye infection to some degree.
