Well, nowadays, it is normal to have double eyelid surgery to make the eyes look nice. But on the other hand, by having the surgery, it can just weaken your eyes too. So you are not supposed to wear contact lenses in the two weeks after the surgery. As we know that when you apply the contact, you need to put them into your eyes directly. In that way, it can just hurt the eyelid which has just been operation. And that may lead to eye infection too. Anyway, you should not wear contact lenses. By the way, you should have a good rest, and do not overuse your eyes, after the surgery.

Well, it seems that there were something wrong with your eyelids and you have taken some measures to deal with the problem. Timely efforts are always helpful and effective, however, this does not mean that you can do whatever you want to do. I mean, your eyes are still recovering from the disease and surgery which need some time to rest, otherwise you are likely to get eye infections again. Maybe the doctor could give you some advice.

No, it is not OK for you to wear the contact lenses immediately after the double eyelid surgery. You will have to wait until the full recovery of the eyes for about a month. Or else, wearing contact lenses may let you get high possibility of getting the bacterium in the eyes which may affect your recovery of the eyelid.
