Tight neck muscles cause eye floaters. I am suffering from cervical spondylosis and have been experiencing eye floaters for the last 6 months. I have seen one exercise in web but dont know how to perform it.Try this
"Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds"

I never heard that neck pain can cause eye floaters. I heard that floaters often occurs to people with myopia. Because of the long time sit in front the computers or the tv, your eyes may feel tired and hurt which will cause the dryness, thus cause eye floaters. And you are likely got neck pain if you sit long time in front of computer. You'd better take notice of it. You should move actively often and drink water to keep the eyes moisture. You could also use some eye drops to release the eyes.

Eye floaters are common conditions for many people in the general population, and especially common for people with connective tissue disorders. And according to the research, tight muscles in neck from too much PC work may increase floaters. When you have neck pain, your neck muscles can be tight, and in that way, it can lead to many floaters. So you should try some ways to relieve your neck pain. For example, you should not have exercises, when the neck is painful. And just have a right position. Besides, drinking much more water is also good for reducing floaters.

There seems no apparent connection between these two diseases. Floaters are extremely common, and are typically fleeting and harmless. However, the sudden presence of many floaters in one or both eyes can be a sign of a serious eye condition. Many sudden floaters associated with flashing lights could imply a retinal tea, which can lead to permanent vision loss if not treated quickly and effectively. For the treatment, here is my suggestion, first, use ice bag to release your pain, okay, this also and works for your neck pain. Secondly, take some vitamin as supplement, which can help you to smooth your circulation.
