Can a detached retina cause nausea?

I just got a detached retina. But now i also get nausea. Can a detached retina cause nausea?

    Yes, a detached retina can cause nausea. People with detached retina have a symptom of flashes of light. These flashes usually last for 10 to 20 minutes and usually accompany with headache, followed by nausea, vomiting and significant sensitivity to light. When there is a blockage of blood flow in the main artery, the retina dies without nourishment, and then you get detached retina. If this happens, you should see a medical doctor and have an examination as well blood test.
