Can you be around people with pink eye?

  Well, generally speaking, you are not supposed to be with someone who has pink eyes, for pink eyes are highly contagious. First, you should know that pink eye, is redness and inflammation of the membranes covering the whites of the eyes and the membranes on the inner part of the eyelids. Of course, there are many causes of pink eyes, and then there are also many different kinds of pink eyes. But you should know that the common cause of pink eyes can be irritation, allergies, eyestrain, environment, wearing contact lenses, dry eyes. If someone suffer pink eyes, it will have some symptoms such as itching, burning or stinging, discharge, swelling, watering. Anyway, you should not be with him or her. Or your eyes can be transmitted easily. Just be careful about it.

  Yes, of course, sometimes people around us unluckily get pink eyes or other eye diseases and we are still in good conditions. So, if you have to get close to those who have got pink eyes, you gotta be extremely careful, try not to touch anything he uses and stay away from his personal stuff, that would greatly reduce the risk of infection.   Pink eye is acute bacteria conjunctivitis and its infectivity is powerful. Pick eyes infect others through touch, once the eyes of a healthy person touch the gum of the pick eyes or things polluted by their tears, such as the towel, handkerchief, washbasin, etc, the healthy can be infected. Therefore, the patients with pink eyes should have their own towel, handkerchief, washbasin, etc and those things they have used must be sterilized. They should not engage in activities in public and should be separated from others properly.
