What does chronic dry eye feel like?

My eyes fell dry in recent days. Is that dry eyes? What does chronic dry eye feel like?

    If your eyes feel dry, you may feel uncomfortable. The chronic dry eyes are due to the insufficient number of tears or poor quality of the excreted tears which lead to the eye dry syndrome. The serious dry eye can cause corneal epithelium damage tears shortage. Usually the normal speed of every eye tear secretion is 1 μ L/minutes. The hyposecretion or evaporation over the tears is caused by the shortage of tears which are in poor quality. The normal tear in ocular surface may form a layer LeiMo. From outside to inside, it is divided into three layers: the lipid layer, water mucin layer and reduced layer of abnormal tear quality. However, the dryness of the eyes can be caused by the tiredness of eyes by using a lot of time in front of the computers. If you get the dry eyes, you may use the eye drops to release the symptom.

    Well, from your description, your symptom is just like the chronic dry eyes. As we know that there are many symptoms when someone has chronic dry eyes, for example, some people will often feel discomfort. And their eyes can be burning, gritty, red, and watery. Also, they will have blurred vision, irritation, inflammation, or the feeling of something in the eye. You can check this with your own situation. Besides, you should know that there are many factors which can cause chronic dry eyes, such as hereditary, immune-mediated, drug-induced, chronic allergic eyelid disease. So for your situation, I will suggest you should go and see an eye doctor, so that you can heal it.

    The symptoms of dry eyes are as follows: Pain, light sensitivity, a gritty sensation, a feeling of a foreign body or sand in the eye, itching, redness,blurring of vision. And sometimes you may be have excess tears running down the checks. The reasons that cause dry eyes are the natural aging process, side effects of medicines, sjogren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and collagen vascular diseases, eye lids' sructual problems.
